Kish has spent over 12 years working at the intersection of finance, strategy, and transactions - from Big Four audit to Investment Banking and corporate advisory. He has advised founders, management teams, and investors across the full lifecycle of a business: raising capital, navigating growth, preparing for sale, and closing deals.


He founded Consult EFC to give ambitious UK businesses access to the same calibre of financial thinking that was previously only available to large corporates. SaaS / Series A Fundraising

The Situation

A B2B SaaS founder came to us 12 weeks before a planned Series A raise. Their finance function was spreadsheet-based, MRR reporting was inconsistent month to month, and they had no investor-grade model. Two VCs had already asked for financials and gone quiet.

What We Did

Rebuilt the financial model from scratch with proper SaaS metrics: ARR, MRR, churn, LTV:CAC, and a three-year forecast with scenario analysis
Standardised monthly management accounts so every number in the deck could be traced back to a clean source
Attended investor meetings, answered financial Q&A, and handled every diligence request from the lead VC through to term sheet
The Result

Series A closed successfully within the original timeline. The two VCs who had gone quiet re-engaged once the financials were investor-ready.

Exit Planning / Trade Sale

The Situation

A professional services founder wanted to exit within 18 months. Three acquirers had already looked at the business and walked away. The accounts were messy, EBITDA was being understated by owner costs blended into the P&L, and there was no information memorandum to present to buyers.

What We Did

Normalised three years of accounts: removed owner salary distortions, one-off costs, and non-recurring items to present true maintainable EBITDA
Prepared the information memorandum, financial pack, and vendor due diligence file so the buyer had no reason to chip on price
Managed the buyer's diligence process end to end, pushing back on three attempts to reduce the agreed price
The Result

Business sold at an above-market multiple. Every price chip attempt was defended with the numbers.

Fractional CFO / Turnaround

The Situation

A growing e-commerce business was profitable on paper but consistently running out of cash. Revenue was up 60% year on year. The founder could not understand why growth was making the problem worse, not better, and the bank was asking questions.

What We Did

Diagnosed the problem in week one: a 45-day creditor payment cycle against 90-day stock holding was destroying working capital as the business scaled
Built a 13-week rolling cash flow model giving the founder real visibility for the first time and a clear view of the next three months
Structured and secured a revolving credit facility to fund the working capital gap, presented to the bank with a full financial pack
The Result

Cash crisis resolved within six weeks. The business continued to grow and the founder had full financial visibility for the first time since launch.
